Getting into my stride

sitting in a jacket, how often does that happen?

Sorry to say that I literally didn't have time to blog until now due to the sheer pace and variety of things I've been up to. Everything turns on a sixpence as usual during the school holidays. I've not booked a break away but if all goes well I could be working abroad for a while. My habit of listmaking stands me in good stead as I find I achieve a lot more when I can work down my wish list ticking things off. I'm so missing my personal care friend who used to do my waxes, since she's moved to Manchester. I need to find someone else who can fit me in at a moment's notice for these full body makeovers. At the moment I'm shaping my eyebrows while taking calls for castings. I appear quite prominently in a summer TV commercial, and I've got some other photoshoots and ads which aren't yet appearing. Continuing my healthy eating apart from the odd barbecue, and it's really given me the energy I've needed. It has the benefit of me losing weight too. It's all upgrades in our house at the moment. My daughter has decided she wants a retainer to close her 'lucky' slight gap in her front teeth. I did a few unusual poses in my latest photos. Seated in a jacket for example, not sure I've seen many others like that.

We attended a family wedding and it was really touching to see some of my relatives who've not got together for some time. Essex isn't far away but I tend not to go much. I did a quick trip to Leicester for some fittings for a clothing chain. It was all over in an hour and my cab driver felt it wrong that I was to go home without having a tour. He drove around pointing out places of interest at no extra charge. To be honest, I'm glad he's proud of Leicester but there's no place like London to me. It's been odd that more and more people are asking for recordings which get digitally uploaded and links shared. An actor friend popped over to shoot an online audition for a TV show as he couldn't get to the face to face. Luckily his character was a jaded official as he'd just got off a plane from Cyprus and was suffering from the end of vacation blues. I have great light at home, and did an audition doing The Cup Song almost in the same spot. I do occasional background artiste work and I've been laughing to myself how careful they were in a medical drama to sew me into my pyjamas so that I didn't burst out, when I am fairly certain I won't be seen. I wore a new swimming costume to the pool and it's quite plunging I found myself looking around for someone to sew me into it. I think I get used to luxury with no problem at all.
